Week 9 Recaps

4-0 ATS. 54-40-2 ATS YTD. Picked Florida-Georgia right down to the score. Had GT-Clemson margin of victory right also.
Watch for the lines to be updated on the right hand side during the week.

Florida 14 Georgia 10

Florida jumped out to an early 14 point lead on their first two drives and then hung on for a 14-10 victory over SEC East leading Georgia. Georgia backup QB Joe Tereshinki finished 8-21 with 1 INT and 1TD reception. Florida has had a bye week 12 of the last 13 years and they are 11-1 in those 12 games against Georgia. The Gators have now won 14 of the last 16 meetings.

Georgia Tech 10 Clemson 9

In an ugly affair in Atlanta with six turnovers and over 125 yards in penalties, the Yellow Jackets came out on top 10-9. The outcome was not decided until Clemson QB Charlie Whitehurst's heave was intercepted by Dawan Landry near the goaline. This marks the ninth time in the last ten meetings, this contest has come down to three points.

Heroes of the day for Tech were CB Kenny Scott and DE Eric Henderson. Scott broke up a touchdown saving catch midway through the fourth quarter, which would have put Clemson up and tackled Curtis Baham short of a first down ending Clemson's last bonafide scoring opportunity. Henderson said after the game he was playing at about 70%, but that did not stop him from causing two fumbles on sacks. Clemson lost three fumbles in the game. They had not lost a fumble all season.
