Temple vs Clemson Preview

Temple vs #12 Clemson (-44, 56) Charlotte, NC 7:30 ESPNU

Temp ATS: 2-3-1 O/U: 2-3-1
Clem ATS: 4-2-0 O/U: 4-2-0

Recent Meetings:
Clem 37 Temp 7 2005 (Clem -37, 53)
Clem 37 Temp 7 1991 (Clem -27.5)

Team Updates:
Temple comes into this game as possibly the worst team in Division I-A. They lost to Buffalo in their first game then followed that up with two games scoring 0 points while allowing 62 in each of those games. There is nothing positive going on with Temple right now, so much that they sold this home game back to Clemson who moved the game to Charlotte.

Clemson is riding sky high and already making plans for Jacksonville and the ACC Championship. With a showdown versus Georgia Tech next Saturday, expect Clemson's starters to play no more than one quarter in this game. By the beginning of the fourth, Tommy Bowden will have moved his mind to next weekend. The Tigers will be without their best wideout Chansi Stuckey again, but it won't matter against the Owls.

I like Temple to cover in this game beacause of the fact Clemson has a huge ACC showdown the following Saturday against a team who has a bye this week. The Tigers will be up big at halftime and will just try to get through the second half without any more injuries to an already banged up football team.

Prediction: Clemson 45 Temple 3 (Temple Covers, Under)
