Explanation for Ohio State's Poor Play

I found this picture of Troy Smith and Jim Tressell on the sidelines during Ohio State's 41-14 loss in the BCS Championship. The Buckeyes are now 0-8 vs SEC teams in bowl games. I think the picture explains a lot as to why the Big 10 Champions played as poorly as they did.

But here is a better explanation. Apparently, Ted Ginn hurt his ankle during the celebration of his opening kick off return for a touchdown. This was likely Ginn's last play for the Buckeyes unless severe ankle damage was suffered. Roy Hall probably began receiving death threats as soon as this photo hit the message boards.
