Sunday's Forecast

A free throw shooting conspiracy, clock clock conspiracy, and being put in timeout are all apart of Sunday's action.

Duke vs Boston College 5:30 FSN
Want to know the real reason Duke is "struggling" this year? I think it is free throw shooting. Not because their percentage, but because their number of attempts is way down. Mark Packman from
Southern Fried Football has a chart showing attempts by each team and their opponents stretching as far back as 97-98. Want to know who is near the top in attempts this year? That's right its BC. I think with Sean Williams, the Eagles can handle Duke this year, but without him they are a totally different. Maybe BC should contact Gilbert Arenas. He says he would drop 84 or 85 on Kryzewski in his sleep. I like Duke at home.

Georgia Tech vs Virginia Tech 3:30 FSN
The Yellow Jackets lost their 16th straight road game stretching back to 2005. But Georgia Tech is undefeated at home this year with wins over Duke, Georgia, and Florida State. If you look at the box score from the Maryland you see why they lost - lots of turnovers, Crittenton and Morrow in single figures scoring. Virginia Tech is trying to stay at the top of the ACC, but it won't be easy in the Thrillerdome. I like Georgia Tech at home.

Clemson vs Virginia 1:00 Raycom/Lincoln Financial
Many Tiger fans are still peeved at the clock management at the end of the Duke. They have gone so far to set up online petitions. Funny thing is that they have much of the ACC behind them because the other team involved was Duke. If Clemson does not move on from that (this online petition says there fans have not at least), they could get waxed by a surprising Virginia club. Problem for the Cavs is that they are much better in the new Paul Jones Arena than on the road.

i love the kid at 1:32

Kentucky vs Tennessee 1:00 CBS
Those rumblings you hear out of Kentucky to ouster Tubby Smith got a lot louder after the Wildcats let a 13 point lead at Georgia get away. The Vols sorely missed
Chris Lofton's outside shooting in a bad road loss to Ole Miss. Lofton is doubtful for this game as well and if he doesn't play I don't think Tennessee has much of chance to extend Kentucky's losing streak to three at Rupp Arena.

Georgia vs LSU 3:00 Lincoln Financial
LSU can't shoot the basketball. They miss Tyrus Thomas inside. Georgia is very close to being a 5-1 SEC team and maybe the surprise of the conference. The Tigers have not shown they can win on the road yet. Only 1 SEC West team has won on the road and that was Arkansas against a struggling Alabama team. I like the Bulldogs at home.
