Baseball Tournaments Set

School's out, but the college baseball season is just heating up. The conference tournament brackets for the ACC and SEC are set. Each conference allows the top 8 teams to compete for an automatic berth in the NCAA Baseball Tournament.

The ACC favorite is FSU who recently finished the regular season in dominating fashion by sweeping Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Meanwhile, Vanderbilt has held the top spot in the nation for most of the year and will look to continue its momentum into the SEC Tournament.

The ACC breaks the eight teams into groups of 4. One group has #1, #4, #5, #8 seeds, while the other has #2,#3,#6,#7. The four teams play a round robin and the winner of each group plays for the championship.

The SEC uses a more traditional double elimination setup like the College World Series. Both conferences are looking to get anywhere from 6-8 teams in the NCAA Tournament, but seeds and Regional hosts are still up for grabs.
