USC and Oklahoma Make For Easy Pickins

So far this bowl season, I am 7-6 in the non-Southern bowls predictions with 2 games left.

Rose Bowl

The Grandaddy of them all is still acting like their Grandaddy and refuses to go away from their traditional Big 10-Pac 10 matchup. I am sure that Georgia-USC wouldn't have sold any ticket or TV ratings. Illinois gets as the Big 10 rep despite finishing 3rd in the Big 10. USC is the biggest favorite of all of the bowl games and arguably playing the best of anyone in the country. But they are getting a little tired of playing in the Rose Bowl saying next year they would like to go somewhere else next year. (Orange Bowl has the BCS Championship).

If this game does get out of hand, then expect plenty of USC Cheerleader shots by ABC like the one to the right. But I expect it to be a game in the 4th quarter. Illinois has nothing to lose in this game and I think they keep it closer than expected, but USC overwhelms the Illini in the end.
Prediction: USC

Fiesta Bowl
This looked like it was going to be a pretty good game, until Rich Rodgriguez bolted for Michigan. Oklahoma is re-visiting the site where all the small schools learned to dream last year. The Sooner have lost their last 3 BCS Bowl games, but teams in head coaching transition were winless as of Dec 31 this bowl season. I think Oklahoma wins and wins it big.
Prediction: Oklahoma
