Ranking the SEC After Week 3

The SEC went out of conference and was 7-0 this past weekend. Georgia and Auburn came away from defensive games with road victories. Vanderbilt keeps on winning with a 17 point victory over Rice. Two big conference games that will shape who plays in Atlanta will be this weekend when LSU travels to Auburn and Florida heads to Tennessee.

1. Georgia (LW - 1)

The Bulldogs survive a defensive struggle at South Carolina forcing two turnovers late to seal the win.

2. Florida (LW - 2)

3. LSU (LW - 4)

4. Alabama (LW - 5)

5. Auburn (LW - 3)

Auburn has issues with their spread offense as they only scored 3 points against Mississippi State. The Tigers dropped in my rankings, but are not far behind the #3 LSU Tigers who they host this weekend.

6. Tennessee (LW - 7)

The Vols took care of business rolling up 548 yards of total offense against UAB.

7. Kentucky (LW - 6)
Kentucky was not snake bit again on a hail mary, but the Wildcats needed a game saving tackle at the 1 yard line to beat the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee State.

8. Vanderbilt (LW - 9)

Ho' Hum...another Vandy victory, right?

9. Ole Miss (LW -8)

10. South Carolina (LW - 10)

Gamecocks have dug themselves a hole in the SEC. The defense played like everyone thought they could at the beginning of the season, but it was not enough to hold off Georgia.

11. Mississippi State (LW - 12)

The Bulldogs showed their defensive prowess, but got their only points against Auburn on a safety. There are serious issues on offense as Miss State only gained 116 yards.

12. Arkansas (LW - 11)
