Other SEC Games - November 8

Before we get to Georgia-Kentucky and Alabama-LSU, lets take a look at the rest of the games around the SEC for November 8.

Arkansas @ South Carolina

South Carolina has the best defense statistically in the SEC. Arkansas was impressive in their win over a ranked Tulsa team last week, but they still gave up over 500 yards of offense from the Golden Hurricane. If the Gamecocks defense plays as well as they did last week against Tennessee, they should keep Arkansas’ offense under wraps. South Carolina could have a break out game offensively, but I wouldn’t count on it. Gamecocks win it comfortbably.
Pick: South Carolina

Tennessee-Martin @ Auburn

This game will be low scoring. I am not sure Auburn’s offense could score 4 touchdowns against any college team right now, but their defense is good enough in this one.

Pick: Auburn

Florida @ Vanderbilt

Watch out for a snoozing Florida team in the first half here. If they come out and blow the doors off of Vandy then I am ready to proclaim the best team in the SEC (unless Alabama does the same to LSU). Vanderbilt is STILL looking for that 6th win and bowl eligibility. Won’t happen against Florida.

Pick: Florida

Wyoming @ Tennessee

The first game for the Vols knowing Phil Fulmer is out at the end of the year. This one could be a struggle for Tennessee whose players have gone through a lot this week. I think UT pulls this one out, but not until the 4th quarter.

Pick: Tennessee
