Reviewing Florida-Georgia

This line opened at Florida –5, then moved all the way to –7.5 by Saturday. I thought something was up for sure and just couldn’t see how two teams so even coming into the game could be a TD difference.

Comments from past Georgia players indicated there was some fear playing Florida. But this years team faced those fears and conquered them last year. After that blowout, Florida has re-asserted their dominance in this series as of late.

I am sure the talk of moving the game from Jacksonville will start again amongst Georgia fans as it usually does after a loss in the series. It is true Florida has a shorter road trip than Georgia, but that didn’t seem to stop the Bulldogs from winning all those games in the 70 and 80s.

Florida’s offense looks to be clicking now after some early season woes.

Tim Tebow’s stats are down this year from last, but Florida is much better because he is healthy.

Florida’s win gives them a huge advantage in winning the East. They would have to lose at Vanderbilt and home against South Carolina and Georgia would have to win out to be jumped.

Many talked about Georgia’s having their best shot at a national title in a long time before the season. If Moreno and Stafford comes back, the schedule sets up much better next year than this year.

Last Week: 0-4 ATS, 1-3 SU
Season: 23-13-2 ATS, 24-14 SU
