ACC Power Rankings After The Regular Season

The dust has cleared in the ACC and we have Championship Game participants finally! But in my power rankings a team has also made its way to the top of the rankings that isn't even playing in Tampa next week! Enjoy and blast away!

1. Georgia Tech
The Yellow Jackets went on the road and beat a favored SEC team. That does more for the national stature of the program than winning an ACC title would have.

2. Boston College
Backup QB? No difference to leather jacket wearing Jeff Jagodzinski. Jags will give Paul Johnson a very good run for coach of the year taking BC back to the ACCCG.

3. Virginia Tech
They are in the championship but by the skin of their teeth. Hokies survived a tough year with limited personnel. Might be Beamer's best coaching job in a while.

4. Florida State

5. North Carolina

6. Maryland

7. Wake Forest

8. Clemson
Ho' hum another win against South Carolina..with an interim coach against an SEC hall of famer.

9. NC State
The Wolfpack gets a big jump in my book after becoming bowl eligible with the win over Miami. Tom O'Brien really pulled this team together after a dismal start.

10. Miami
I still like Randy Shannon, but he still has a long way to go to restore Miami to its former prominence.

11. Virginia

12. Duke
