Florida vs Arkansas Prediction

Florida vs Arkansas
Saturday 2PM
TV: Raycom

The Gators welcome the Arkansas Razorbacks to Gainesville on Saturday afternoon. The Gators are coming off a tough road win at Auburn while the Hogs are reeling after two straight SEC losses. Arkansas had beaten Texas and Oklahoma previously.

The stats look pretty even in this one. One stat that does jump out at me is the amount Arkansas is getting to the FT line. Opponents are fouling the Razorbacks nearly 22 times per game, but too bad the Hogs are shooting just 65 percent from the charity stripe.

Florida is led by G Nick Calathes and C Alex Tyus providing one of the best inside/outside combos in the SEC. Arkansas boasts four scorers in double digits led by C Michael Washington at 17ppg.

The Gators are a perfect 10-0 at home this season. Arkansas won their two big games at home and is just 1-2 away from Fayetteville. I like the Gators in this one because of their ability to create turnovers on the defensive end (16.8 per game).

Florida wins by 5-15 points

Season: 3-2 SU
