FSU leads ACC schools with five players highlighted by Arizona WR Anquan Boldin (below). Surprisingly, Duke has two players in the game. Alabama leads SEC schools with four players. The ACC is tied with the Big 10 with 22 players each. The SEC has 14, Pac 10 has 11 and the Big 12 has 10.

Rivals.com did a very interesting look at where the players played in college and high school. Michigan leads all schools with 7 players, followed by FSU (5), Alabama, and Texas (4 each). The states of Texas and Florida have 11 players each followed by California (10), Ohio (8), Georgia, Louisiana, Pennsylvania (6).

Nice post, I always hear about the SEC football players but there are quite a few ACC players as well.
ReplyDeleteYep, the ACC has held its own when it comes to the NFL Draft. Virginia is a school that comes to mind that has had several very high draft picks over the last 5 years, but hasn't had the success level of SEC teams in win-loss.
ReplyDeleteI think Miami has a streak in the double digits for years in a row with a 1st round pick. Think that may come to an end this year though.
