ACC Football Predictions For October 16

Boston College at Florida State
The Eagles could start a true freshman at QB. Florida State looks like they are hitting their stride in time for a run to the Atlantic Division title. Unless the Seminoles turn the ball over five times they should win easily.

Maryland at Clemson
The Tigers are in danger of slipping out of bowl contention after three straight losses. Maryland is better than they were last year, but not good enough to beat Clemson on the road.

NC State at East Carolina
This would be the kind of game State would lose the last few years, but this is a different Wolfpack team. Russell Wilson leads a 4th quarter drive to seal the game.

Miami at Duke
The Hurricanes got embarrassed last week against FSU. If they are truly making progress in this program then they come out this week and blow Duke out. I am not sure mentally Miami is quite ready to do that.

Middle Tennessee State at Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech has improved the last two weeks, but we have also seen this Tech team not show up to play. With a tough stretch of Clemson, Va Tech, and Miami upcoming the Yellow Jackets may be looking past the Blue Raiders. MTSU QB Dwight Dasher can run and throw with the best of them.

Wake Forest at Virginia Tech
Its October so that means its time for the Hokies to get into high gear. Wake Forest is really struggling this season.
Virginia Tech 37 Wake Forest 10

North Carolina at Virginia
The Tar Heels look to be finally a cohesive unit and playing to their potential. But strange things occur to UNC when they come to Charlottesville where the Cavaliers have dominated on their home field. UVA doesn't have near the talent of UNC, but that hasn't mattered much in other years.
Virginia 20 North Carolina 17
