ACC Power Poll Week 5: Virginia Tech, Miami Lead The Way

1. Virginia Tech
Hokies showed me a lot by coming back from 17-0 on the road against a good NC State team.

2. Miami
Hurricanes have looked very good as of late, but I would like to see them win without getting so much help from the other side.

3. FSU
Did the Seminoles have great defensive outings the last two week or are ACC offenses that bad?

4. NC State
Wolfpack missed a golden chance to establish themselves as an elite ACC team. Maybe they will get a rematch.

5. Georgia Tech
It wasn't pretty, but the Yellow Jackets got it done. They better hope that game was the low point of the season.

6. Clemson
Same song and dance from the Tigers. Get close to a big win and then fall apart the next week.

7. Maryland
Is Ralph Friedgen working on saving his job?

8. Boston College
BC really struggling on offense.

9. North Carolina
Hard to decipher what is news about the Tar Heel football team and what is John Blake scuttlebutt.

10. Virginia
The Cavaliers get to play their old head coach this week.

11. Wake Forest
Deacons were down to their fourth string QB and nearly pulled it out. A testament to Jim Grobe's coaching and their lack of talent.

12. Duke
Did you hear about that Duke coeds' "list"? That seems a lot more interesting than Blue Devil football right now.
