Alabama - Tennessee Prediction: Tide Rolls on Rocky Top

The Third Saturday in October rivalry renews again with two programs in very different places. Alabama knows they likely need to win out to have a chance at a BCS Championship bid while Tennessee is simply trying to get better week to week and rebuild a once proud program.

The Volunteers are a very Jekyl & Hyde team this year. One week they barely beat UAB at home, then almost beat LSU in Baton Rouge, and then get blown out at Georgia the following week.

Derek Dooley's team is off a bye week to get healthy and scheme for Alabama, but with this vast of a talent difference it won't matter much.

Nick Saban and Kirby Smart are going to make the Tennessee QBs beat them with their arm and that isn't going to happen. On offense, Alabama should be able to move the ball against an undersized UT defensive front seven.

The only way I see Tennessee keeping this game within a touchdown is because of Crimson Tide turnovers.

Alabama 27 Tennessee 9
