Jeremiah Masoli Rubbing Off On His Ole Miss Teammates

The former Oregon QB seems to have righted the ship in Oxford on the field, but evidently the Rebel football team is picking up some bad habits from their new teammate.

Freshman Clarence Jackson has been arrested and charged with burglary. Jackson is alleged to have been in possession of a 46-inch flat-screen television, a TV stand and a DVD/CD player with a total value of close to $2,000 early Thursday morning.

I think Mr. Jackson should have said to himself out loud - "Is this a good thing to be doing with my time?" The Atlanta native has been suspended indefinitely from the Ole Miss team.

In case you are interested, Mr. Masoli has his own website where he sets the facts straight on all the negative media coverage of him including how he was largely a bystander in the burglary last year at an Oregon fraternity house.

Maybe Mr. Jackson was too. Or he might now be just a bystander to the Ole Miss football program.
