Monday Morning Reader: Vegas Hates Georgia Tech, UGA-Florida Aftermath

Opening line discussion
Georgia Tech (+16) at Virginia Tech
“Virginia Tech, you’re talking about a team that’s been much better over the past five games,” Avello said. “And this is high, but Georgia Tech has had some bad losses and we don’t know what they have left.”

Korner agrees.

“We don’t like Georgia Tech at all,” he said. “And with it being a marquee game, in the middle of the week, we try to pad it a little bit. We usually give the favorite a little more, and see if the wiseguys take the dog.”

Thanks for nothing Ole Miss: Oregon jumps Auburn in newest BCS rankings.

As if Georgia-Georgia Tech wasn't already interesting enough.
Assuming a victory over FCS (formerly Division I-AA) opponent Idaho State on Saturday in Athens, Georgia will need to win at BCS No. 2 Auburn on Nov. 13 or against rival Georgia Tech in Athens on Nov. 27 to become bowl eligible for a 14th consecutive season.

Losing to a winless team in the ACC hurt. Losing Andre Ellington at least 2 weeks hurts more for Clemson.

Mark Richt defends A.J. Green catching only four passes.
“We weren’t saying that hey we’re gonna throw this ball to A.J. no matter what,” Richt said. “You still have to read the routes.”
