You Would Think They Would Learn: Top UNC Football Player Interviewed About Possible NCAA Violations

The NCAA is once again roaming Franklin Street interviewing a North Carolina football player about possible benefits received.

According to Joe Schad sources, defensive lineman Quinton Coples was interviewed by NCAA investigators about his appearance at a DC party.

"Photographs of Coples with [Marvin] Austin and [Robert] Quinn that appeared on Facebook and the web site prompted the inquiry. The party is labeled as taking place at "Ultrabar" nightclub. Also seen in photos with players is at least one alleged runner the NCAA has investigated."

Both Austin and Quinn missed the 2010 season after receiving agent benefits and saw their draft stock drop.

Despite the year long suspensions of multiple players, the case against the UNC football program is still pending from the NCAA.

Coples is ranked 2nd in Mel Kiper's latest NFL Mock Draft.
