The Real Reason Georgia Tech's Passing Offense Is Better This Season Featured on

The protection by the offensive line. 

Nobody is within four yards of Tevin Washington from UNC's highly regarded defensive front.

Stephen Hill's high wire act catch is featured on Yahoo this morning (along with a story from Dr. Saturday) with this screenshot. 

Yes, the wide receivers are doing a better job catching the ball and Washington has been more accurate than his predecessor, but the real reason is the time he has been afforded in the pocket.

If you don't think comfort in the pocket isn't a big deal, ask anyone who has played LSU.
