ACC Head Ref Answers Questions About Controversial Georgia Tech Blocking Schemes

ACC Head of Officiating Doug Rhoads talks about the Yellow Jackets and whether or not his refs are missing chop block calls on Georgia Tech as well the new calls on targeting and what he tell his guys on to call.

The Jackets blocking came into question after a former UNC Lettermen called Georgia Tech "the dirtiest team in college football" two weeks ago.

Rhoads also does a good job of talking about the inner workings of how the conference hires and reviews referees.

  1. Again, if GT is dirty, then so is Navy, Army, and Air Force. But I guess it's unpopular to demoralize them, isn't it?
