LSU Early SEC Favorite in 2013; Va Tech, FSU ACC Favorites

Even though the 2012 BCS Championship has not been decided yet, early odds for 2013 are already out.

These numbers are likely to change as players declare for the NFL Draft or opt to stay, but LSU is still likely to enter as the favorites next year with Alabama and Arkansas traveling to Baton Rouge. The Tigers are currently a 3:1 choice for the BCS Championship.

USC checks in as the next highest favorite at 6/1 bolstered by the unlikely return of Matt Barkley and TJ McDonald.

The SEC West places three teams in the top five with Alabama (7/1) and Arkansas (12/1). Georgia is the early favorite in the East at 15/1 while South Carolina is just 28/1.

The ACC favorites are the same as they were this year: Florida State and Virginia Tech, both 18/1. Clemson comes in 3rd at 28/1. Georgia Tech opens as 100/1, the lowest odds given to named teams.

And just to show how far the Texas Longhorns have fallen, Kansas State is given better odds to win the BCS title.
