5 Legends For UGA In NCAA Football 13

EA Sports NCAA Football 2013 comes out next Tuesday but they are leaking some of the feature changes early, including the ability to have Heisman winners compete on your team now.

Lets take a little bit of freedom and expand upon EA Sports model to include any rival teams player to add. (EA Sports has Tebow Tebowing in a UGA uniform here)

Here are my 5 UGA legends to add from rival teams:

Tim Tebow
The great one went 3-1 against UGA while at Florida including two of the biggest wins in the series in his final two seasons. Plus, wouldn't it be great to see the former Heisman winner taking instruction from another devout Christian man like Mark Richt.

Eric Berry
Whenever I play NCAA Football I always control the safeties because, well, because I suck at tackling. Eric Berry does not suck at tackling nor does he suck at pretty much anything else on the football. The Atlanta area product followed in his father's footsteps and headed to Knoxville instead of Athens.

Calvin Johnson
Megatron made an official visit to Athens, but the Bulldogs were never really a serious consideration for him. Johnson grew up a Georgia Tech fan and committed to the Yellow Jackets the day after his visit return. He plays with Matt Stafford in the NFL, but they could have also teamed up in 2006 at the collegiate level.

Cam Newton
A once in a generation QB was recruited as a TE by Richt coming out of high school in Atlanta. But even Urban Meyer didn't know the full scale of how good the eventual first overall NFL Draft pick would be.

Steve Spurrier
Double bonus for the OBC as you could get him as a player and a coach. He is hall of fame caliber for both. As fun as it could be, I just can't imagine true UGA fans ever exposing their eyes to Spurrier in Red & Black.

What former rival would you add to UGA's roster?
